Why this exists

It’s how real products actually get made.

Every product you use was tested by real people before it shipped — the car you drive, the streaming service you watch, the toothpaste you buy. Companies need to know what works, what’s confusing, and what’s missing. So they pay people like you to tell them.

Market research has been a real industry for over seventy years. Cypher Research has been part of it since 2006. And yes — you really do get paid.

Companies pay us.

Real businesses — automakers, consumer brands, healthcare companies, app developers — hire Cypher to find people for their studies. They pay us a fee for the recruiting and the facility.

We pay you.

Out of what we’re paid, you get $50–$150 for most studies; longer or specialized ones pay more. Compensation is delivered the day of the study or shortly after — by check, gift card, or digital payment.

Nobody sells anything to anyone.

Your information stays with our recruiting team. Clients never see it. Marketers never see it. There’s no follow-up sales call, no email list, no data broker. The whole arrangement is: your time and honest opinion, fairly paid.
